Languages students from Haygrove School spent four days in Barcelona experiencing various aspects of Spanish culture.
The trip included visits to Maremagnum, Palau de la Musica, Sagrada Familia and the Nou Camp Stadium, home of Barcelona FC.
The students were given free time to explore parts of the city and practise their Spanish, as well as visit the Boqueria Market for souvenirs.
Some students tried tapas for the first time and others were brave enough to experience some of the more exotic local delicacies such as squid, snails and octopus.
