After the recent grid lock, when both carriage ways of the M5 were closed for six hours, this must only strengthen the argument about the stupid decision not to provide an alternative route to Hinkley Point!
The town had traffic jam after traffic jam over the summer last year, without the constant stream of extra heavy lorries, that will result when construction begins on Hinkley C.
For EDF to say there is no money for such a scheme is quit a joke when put into context of the overall cost of the project, more like they want to keep all the money back to reward senior management for doing a job well done, whilst ruining the lives of Bridgwater residents for the next 15 to 20 years while they build this monster in our back yard.
