THE Marion Evered Trust have donated £12,000 for Oak Children’s Ward at Musgrove Park.
The small family run charity have been raising money for the ward for more than 40 years and at their annual presentation dinner, handed over a cheque to Dr Louise Newbury.
This takes the total raised by the charity through various local events to over £200,000.
Dr Newbury, representing the ward, said she was very grateful for this year's donation.
The charity would like to thank all who have helped and participated in this years events and look forward to another successful year of fundraising.
