A MARKETING guru visited Haygrove School to talk to students about career opportunities in the sector.
Mr Nick Mawditt, director of marketing and insight at London-based agency Talon, delivered a presentation focusing on the creative and ideas industries to 150 pupils in years 10 and 11.
The group have all been identified as having the capability to achieve at the highest level and are receiving intervention and support from the school to help them fulfil their potential.
Mr Mawditt talked about how technology was impacting on advertising and explained that in today’s constantly changing world, if students wanted to succeed, they needed to learn how to adapt and change to suit the needs and demands of an ever-evolving world of work.
After the presentation he answered questions from the students about how they could best prepare themselves for the working world ahead of them.
