EASTOVER Park Bowling Club Ladies Section held their annual charity day, where the proceeds go to their chosen charity – St Margaret’s Hospice.
The Beaver Cup is a fun competition for the ladies of the club and they play for a trophy donated by a past member in memory of his wife. The winning team was led by Ann Frampton and included Janet Davey, Betty Norman & Bea Sowden.
Julie Draper, community fundraiser, attended on behalf of St Margaret’s and collected a cheque for £298.50.
Mrs Draper said: “I would like to say a huge thank you to all the members of the club. It was a lovely afternoon.
“Special thank you to Barbara and Bea for being such excellent hosts and for the delicious food.
"The bowling club have been supporting St Margaret’s since 2001 and has raised an impressive £2,411 for us.”
