RESIDENTS at a Bridgwater nursing home are enjoying relaxing in their brand new wooden tea room.
A summerhouse at Milton House in West St has been converted into a place where the residents can go to enjoy a hot drink, a slice of cake, some biscuits and a chat.
The wooden building features vintage memorabilia to encourage the residents to reminiscence about their lives and share stories with their fellow residents and staff.
Manager at Milton House, Julie Bohot, said: “We are thrilled with our tea room.
“I would personally like to thank everyone that has contributed items or time towards this project.
"We were lucky to have had some really beautiful weather recently, and the residents have been enjoying spending time in the garden, sipping tea and eating biscuits in the new tea room.”
