Horse stuck in ditch in Pawlett rescued by fire crews
A HORSE stuck in a water-filled ditch in Pawlett was rescued by fire crews from Burnham and Bridgwater this morning.
Crews were called to the incident at 8.14am to Gaunts Farm.
Dry suits were donned and lines were attacjed to the horse to lead it out of the ditch.
The horse was removed to the field by 9.19am and a vet carried out checks.
