FAMILIES enjoyed a day of activities and music in the warm weather at the Walled Gardens of Cannington annual Summer Fair.

Saturday saw more than 750 of visitors flock to the gardens to enjoy entertainment from The Tone Big Band, the Bubble Man, face painting, and hanging basket demonstrations, and a range of stallholders, amongst others stallholders. The Tea Room displayed poems from local school children on the topic of nature, wildlife and the outdoors.

The Walled Gardens have a number of upcoming open air theatre performances throughout the summer, including Pride and Prejudice on Thursday, June 25 at 7pm, The Wind in the Willows, Saturday, July 11 at 2pm and 6pm, Hamlet, Friday, July 31 at 7pm and Much Ado About Nothing, Friday, August 7 at 7pm.

Tickets are available from the Gardens’ Gift Shop in advance or on the day.
