Firefighters called to chimney fire in Catcott
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a property in Catcott earlier today to douse a a chimney fire.
On arrival, crews from Street confirmed one chimney on fire with smoke issuing from under roof tiles and asked for assistance from another appliance that was mobilised from Bridgwater station.
Crews checked the loft space and confirmed there was no sign of fire but heavily smoked logged.
They made the scene safe and ventilated the loft before leaving.
