A HUNKY farmer from Sedgemoor has been short-listed as one of ‘Britain’s Sexiest Farmers’.

James Hall, 32, of Northmoor, is one of the ten finalists in the Farmers’ Weekly magazine competition to find the sexiest male and female farmers, having beaten off competition from over 300 entries.

‘Britain’s Sexiest Farmers’ is now all down to a public vote with the two winners due to be named on February 13.

James is a calf rearer for Blade Farming and has his own farm on the Somerset Levels.

After a tough year with the floods in the first few months of 2014 he has got his unit back up and running, and says farming wouldn’t be the same without some challenges along the way.

James has a passion for agriculture, describing it as “a bit like a drug”.

He said: “If it’s in your blood you can’t leave it alone. “I have the best office in the world – the great British countryside – and you can’t get any better than that.”
