DOZENS of Somerset businesses have learnt how tweeting, hashtagging, pinning and blogging can benefit their business at a number of free social media workshops.
Around 80 tourism related businesses have attended one of the free training workshops as part of the COOL Tourism Project from Somerset County Council.
The events give top tips and tricks for engaging with customers by creating compelling content across various social media channels, blogs and websites.
Glowing feedback from participants has been received, highlighting how beneficial the various businesses found the workshops. Further workshops will take place at the Willows and Wetlands Centre near Taunton on Friday (January 23), the Mendip Hub in Wells on Monday, February 2, and at Abbey Manor in Yeovil on Monday, February 9.
