The Somerset Cheese School is offering new courses in January by world-renowned cheese expert, Juliet Harbutt.

The Cheese School, which is the first of its kind in the country, will see Juliet, who is also Chairperson of the British Cheese Awards, run the sessions for anyone who buys, sells, makes, or just loves cheese.

The Fermented Friends session, on January 15, will be held at Blackmore Farm and is for matching cheese with red wine, pale ale or cider. Cheese for Cheese Lovers, on January 16, at Farmhouse Cheese producers Cricketers Farm, will provide you with indepth knowledge about cheese.

The Cheese School has previously used the facilities at Bridgwater College’s Cannington Centre, where a pilot event was run last year.
