SHOPPERS in the centre of Bridgwater enjoyed a refreshingly vintage cuppa at the weekend, thanks to a ‘pop-up’ tea party held in the Cornhill.
Laura Cross, who runs the monthly event, said: “Sedgemoor District Council has allowed me to do one pop-up tea party a month.
“The aim is to get more people coming into the Cornhill to do their shopping and have a look around.”
Laura will be holding another tea party in January but the date is still to be confirmed.
The tea and cakes are served on beautiful vintage crockery and offers weary shoppers a fun and quirky addition to the selection of coffee shops and cafés in the centre of town.
