EMPLOYMENT in the South-West has risen significantly this year.
The number of people in work between April and June increased by 77,000 in the region.
Under the Government's long term economic plan, youth unemployment has had the biggest reduction since records began 30 years ago and the overall figures show the lowest rate (6.4%) of people out of work since 2006.
