Fire crews arrived to find a horse stranded in a ditch in Middlezoy
A HORSE in Middlezoy didn't get off to the best start this morning after getting stuck in a ditch.
Fire crews were called out at 6.56am this morning (Tuesday) to a farm in Greylake, Middlezoy, to help the stranded animal.
A specialist rescue team from Bridgwater released the horse from a water-filled ditch and early reports suggest the animal suffered no serious injuries.
