STUDENTS enjoyed a change of rythm as the Bridgwater College Academy theatre stage played host to a variety of Indonesian instruments.
The Indonesian percussion instruments, all handmade in Java, provided a completely new experience for all involved and the response from both staff and students was incredible.
Music teacher Naomi Honour said: “The collection of instruments is called a Gamelan. This features beautifully carved instruments such as metallophones, gongs and xylophones.
“It is enchanting and a magical style of music not to be missed.”
The project was led by Actiontrack Performance Com-pany who stayed for the week ensuring all students could enjoy the opportunity.
