STUDENTS put aside their usual school shoes and put on some wellies as they got a chance to take care of some newborn lambs.

Environmental and Land-Based Science students from Robert Blake Science College in Bridgwater visited Rodway Farm at Cannington College, where they met the lambs.

The students learned all about the general day to day care of the lambs and the processes behind them being born.

The students also had an opportunity to look around the premises, and see the importance of animal husbandry and the daily routines on the farm.
