CANNABIS and equipment used in its production has been seized by police officers in Bridgwater.
Police received information from the local community which enabled them to execute a drugs warrant at a property in Stockmoor Drive last Wednesday, April 16.
As well as finding cannabis with a street value of more than £500, they also found scales, plastic bags and cash.
A man was arrested on suspicion of supplying a Class B drug and is currently on bail while police continue their enquiries.
Sergeant Ryan Edwards said: “We were able to obtain a warrant for this address as a result of intelligence we received recently. This is a good example of the local communities helping us and shows that we take all information received by us seriously and are willing to act."
