KICKBOXERS dropped their sparring gloves and got on their bikes as they cycled around Cranleigh Gardens in Bridgwater.
The Somerset Kickboxing Academy cycled 250 miles together as a club last Sunday as they raised funds for the Bridgwater-based charity Tayen’s Journey.
Tayen is a two-year-old Bridgwater girl with a life-threatening brain tumour, and Tayen’s Journey raises money for The Neuro Foundation which is raising money to tackle the genetic condition.
Sarah Prewett-Nation, organiser, said: “The club wanted to do something for children in need so we thought we would do something for a local girl.”
The club had originally planned to cycle around Apex Park in Burnham in January but had to call it off when Apex Park flooded.
