CHILDREN from St Mary's Primary School created this fantastic award-winning carnival mask for the Bridgwater Carnival.
A total of 28 different carnival masks were made by children from schools across Sedgemoor.
The Bridgwater Carnival Committee awarded the mask the mask from St Mary's first place.
The mask created by children from Puriton Primary School came second with Wembdon St George's Primary School's mask finishing third with their mask.
Dave Stokes, publicity officer for Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival, said: “Local school children are the future of Bridgwater Carnival, and engaging children in Bridgwater Carnival activities is absolutely vital in ensuring the town's carnival tradition continues to survive for many generations to enjoy.”
