Teenager seriously hurt in fall outside Morrisons in Bridgwater
A TEENAGER is in a serious conditions in hospital after he fell outside a supermarket in Bridgwater and suffered serious head injuries.
Police were called to the incident outside Morrisons, off Broadway, at 3.55am on Saturday morning after a member of the public found the 19-year-old man unconscious on the ground.

There was a heavy police presence at the store on Saturday morning as forensics officers cordoned off an area near the front entrance to carry out their investigations.
A police spokesman said: “We were called out to reports of a man surrounded by a pool of blood outside Morrisons supermarket in Bridgwater.
“He was unconscious and was taken to Frenchay Hospital where his injuries were quite serious – the man’s injuries were initially thought to be life threatening.”
Police say following their investigations the man is not thought to have been assaulted.
They say there is no criminal investigation taking place.
Morrisons was open as normal during Saturday morning but shoppers were asked to use the side doors instead while forensics officers checked the entrance area.
The police cordon was lifted at around 1pm.
