MEMBERS of a group fundraising for leukaemia treatment are celebrating reaching their £3million target.
Musgrove Leukaemic Group Somerset celebrated raising the amount since it formed in 1978 with a party at the Railway Club in Bridgwater.
The group aims to provide treatmentfor patients diagnosed with leukaemia and other blood disorders in Somerset, mainly at Taunton’s Musgrove Park Hospital.
One of the group’s founders and current Trustee Maureen Hudson said: “Our thanks go to all our members and contributors.”
