Somerset cancer patients 'lack support' Somerset cancer patients 'lack support'

ONE in four cancer patients living in Somerset lacks support from their family and friends, according to research carried out by Macmillan Cancer Support.

The charity’s Facing the Fight Alone report found that over half of isolated patients were not eating properly, 27% of them could not wash themselves and 60% of them struggled with household chores because of a lack of help.
