A MAN has been assaulted in Bridgwater’s Blake Gardens.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident, which occurred at around 10.45pm on Friday January 29.

A police spokesman said: “A man was walking in Blake Gardens when he was struck to the back of the head with an unknown object. He fell to the floor and was struck again to the head and chest.

“The man lost consciousness and the offenders made off with his bank card.”

Officers would like to speak to three men who many have information.

The first is described as white, aged around 25, of slim build, and around 180-185cm tall. He was wearing a black jacket with white stripes down the sleeve, black tracksuit bottoms, a black beanie hat, and white Nike trainers.

The two other men are described as white, shorter than the first man and between 25-30 yrs old. They were wearing beanie hats, blue jeans, and dark coloured jackets.
