Man badly hurt after assault in East Quay in Bridgwater
A 39-YEAR-OLD man suffered serious head injuries in an assault in Bridgwater.
It happened near the taxi rank in East Quay, just after midnight on Sunday.
The victim was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and released on bail.
Police are urging anybody with information to contact Bridgwater CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555111.
