COULD these be two contenders for the unenviable title of Sedgemoor’s worst pothole?
Andrew Teal sent in this photo of the road between Moorlynch and Greinton.
He is currently pursuing Somerset County Council for compensation after the wheel and tyre of his car were damaged after he drove over one of the potholes.
A council spokesman said: “We don’t comment on individual cases or claims, but we would encourage motorists to report potholes wherever they see them, to Somerset Direct on 0845-3459155.
“Our highways staff do try to get round the whole of the road network but with the extreme weather we’ve had, we can’t get everywhere straight away.”
If you've seen potholes as bad as or worse than this, email your photos to newsdesk@bridgwatermercury.co.uk.
