Help for job seekers at Bridgwater Library workshops
SEDGEMOOR District Council is running workshops at Bridgwater Library to help job seekers improve their chances of finding work.
The You’re Hired! Programme, funded by EDF Energy, takes a lead from TV’s The Apprentice, and sets candidates tasks where they work as a team, apply for jobs, complete CVs and learn crucial job skills.
Businesses able to help by giving mock interviews or talking about customer service are also being sought.
The first workshop is on Monday, January 14, with 24 places available – contact community outreach worker Laura Fowler on 01278-435227.
