Handbag theft in Rhode Lane
WOMEN are asked to be extra vigilant after a handbag was snatched from a 17-year-old girl in Rhode Lane.
The incident happened at about 5.30pm on Saturday (December 1), when the woman was walking in the area.
When she got near to the Oaktree residential home she was pushed to the ground, assaulted and then had her bag pulled from her.
Anyone able to help is asked to contact Bridgwater CID on the force number 101.
