AN EIGHT-year-old girl from Bridgwater has had two of her biggest dreams come true in the space of two weeks.

Little Lillie-May Mills, from the NDR estate, was doubly surprised to find her mum, Hannah Mills, had won two competitions – allowing Lillie to meet pop band JLS and be a mascot for Manchester United.

Hannah, told the Mercury: “She didn’t know I entered her in the competitions.

“She was selected to be a mascot at the Manchester United vs S. C. Braga game at Old Trafford after I entered a Mastercard ‘Priceless Experience’ competition. She’s a huge football fan so she was amazed when I told her.

“Then I found out from a competition I entered with Capital FM that she had been selected from thousands to fly with JLS from London to Liverpool with a VIP easy jet flight.

“I said ‘you’ll never guess what just happened again’. She couldn’t believe her luck.”

Lillie joined 24 other fans on the flight and got to meet the band. She spoke with band member Aston and had all her JLS dolls signed by corresponding band members, as well as her JLS hoodie.

But there was one more surprise in store when band member Marvin called Lillie’s Nan, who asked him to tell Lillie that she had tickets to see JLS attend the Christmas lights switch-on in Bristol.

Hannah added: “These have both been opportunities of a lifetime for her and people are now calling her ‘Lucky Lillie’ and asking her to pick their lottery numbers.”
