GREMLINS CC of Bridgwater shrugged off the drizzly conditions at Weston-super-Mare Carnival last night to make it two wins out of two in the open feature class.

The Gremlins' cart, Revolution, followed up its success at Bridgwater Carnival last Saturday.

Bridgwater clubs claimed five of the top six places in the open feature class.
Marketeers were third with Roller Ghoster, Ramblers fourth with the Adventures of Ali Baba.

Vagabonds, with Aloha, were fifth, while Griffens were sixth with A Dickens Christmas.

In the open tableau class, won by Ilminster's Gemini CC, Bridgwater club Wills came fourth with Mrs Lovett's Meat Pies.

Newmarket, of Bridgwater, won the comic class with Strictly Not Dancing, and Marina Sydenham won the juvenile cart class with Clown Town.
