Where should Bridgwater post office go?

THE MERCURY took to Bridgwater’s high street to get shoppers’ views on the post office announcement.

Claire Gardener said: “I think it’s good that they appear to have listened to people. I think they should put it in Angel Place so it will be more accessible.”

Matthew Patrick added: “It would be easier for other people to get to if it was more central. It could also encourage people to do their shopping in town.”

Alanna Morgan said: “It could be put in the centre where Argos used to be. Wherever it goes I think it should be central.”

Maurine Eckley added: “I think it’s good the Post Office seems to have listened to the people. A lot of residents think no matter what they say about developments, the companies will just do what they want.”
