A HOME is being sought for three German Sheppard puppies.

Avon and Somerset Police are currently caring for Dixie and her brother Dante, both nine months old, and Corrie, who is a year and four months old.

All three puppies were bred as part of a police breeding programme, where potential police dogs are assessed during initial stages of police training.

Sadly Dixie, Dante and Corrie are not suitable to continue as police dogs but will make wonderful family pets.

Dave McIver, who is in charge of the puppy breeding programme, said: “They are really lovely dogs and we really want to find them the right homes.

“They require daily exercise and would suit an environment with plenty of space and suitable exercise area to keep them happy and settled.”

All three puppies have undergone obedience training, are inoculated, wormed, micro chipped and Kennel Club registered.

Call David McIver on 07785 500172  or  01179-455404 or e-mail david.mciver@avonandsomerset.police.uk

Please note that any potential owners will have a home visit from Dave or one of his team.
