Appeal after fatal motorway crash

MOTORWAY drivers in Somerset are being asked if they have information that may help police investigating a fatal crash near Bristol early today (October 14).

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a collision on the M4 at junction 19/M32 exit slip road westbound in the early hours of this morning.

A woman in her 20s died at the scene and the motorway was closed for several hours to allow officers to carry out an investigation.

Police are keen to hear from anyone driving in the area at this time, in particular anyone who saw a vehicle lose control and leave the carriageway.

Contact the collision investigation unit on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800-555111.

And they want to increase the speed limit to 80? This kind of article will be a more regular occurrence if they do increase the speed limit.

I assume that the article has changed since the previous post as there is abolutely no mention in the current report that excess speed was a factor in this tragic event.

Most people travel at 80mph on the motorway nowadays, so your agrument (KBale94) is a moot point in reality.
