Wedmore tennis star takes part in finals showdown

A 12-YEAR-OLD boy from Wedmore was one of 80 talented young tennis stars to take part in the Lawn Tennis Association’s national Talent ID Finals at the Bolton Arena.

Finn Bass, who is part of the AEGON FutureStars scheme and attends Millfield School, said: “I’ve been to the Talent ID days a few times now and they are always a lot of fun.

“We do lots of drills and then play matches – I learn quite a lot. Hopefully it will help me improve as a tennis player.”
