‘BRIDES’ dusted off their old wedding dresses and took to the streets of Bridgwater for charity.
Wedding Dress Day, organised by Brainwave, saw a team of volunteers don their old dresses to raise money and awareness for the charity.
Brainwave provides therapy and support for families with children who have disabilities and special needs. The charity celebrated its 30th birthday this year.
Alexis Hawkes, fundraising administrator at Brainwave, said: “They managed to raise more than £975 for the charity.
“It seems no-one can say no to a woman in a wedding dress – and even a few men!”
