HIGHBRIDGE swimmer Anthony Stephens missed out on a medal when he finished sixth in the 50metres freestyle event at the Paralympics today.

Anthony, 26, who was born with no legs and only one arm, still has the chance of medals in four other events to add to the five he won in Athens and Beijing.

He finished in 35.74 seconds, 3.69 seconds behind the winner, Daniel Dias, of Brazil.

He is a former student of King Alfred School, in Highbridge.
