THE leader of Somerset County Council has toured Sedgemoor to meet business representatives.
Cllr John Osman, right, is hoping to discover what the council can do to promote economic development in the area.
Cllr Osman met Phil Adams, of Sedgemoor District Council, and Geoff Revell, director of Bridgwater Gateway, to discuss the influx of large businesses to Bridgwater.
Cllr Osman said: “The major business developments at Bridgwater’s motorway junctions are a clear indication of how a determination to succeed and an attractive location will mean national and international companies like Robert Wiseman, Morrisons and Mulberry are keen to invest heavily in Somerset.”
