A CHARITY which helps young people in rural Somerset access training, transport and education has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.
The Somerset Rural Youth Project, based in Edington, near Bridgwater, is in the running for a National Council for Voluntary Youth Services award.
The SRYP provides training, accreditation and learning opportunities, and runs a successful moped loan scheme.
The award winers will be announced on August 15.
