A FUNERAL service in Bridgwater has landed a position in a prestigious guide.

Bridgwater Funeral Services has been recommended through the Good Funeral Guide, a not-for-profit social enterprise company, as one of the top funeral directors.

The company, run by funeral directors Nigel Gillard, 49, and his daughter Corrinne, 22, has been based in Bristol Road for five years and has won a place in the guide for the last three.

Nigel said: “To be recommended for the third year on the trot is really something.”

Corrinne, who is one of the highest qualified funeral directors in the area, added: “We were recommended by our customers and now we have a sticker to display in our window to let people know we’re in the guide.

“People tell us it’s nice that we’re a family-run business, rather than a big company. It’s really just me and dad here and people get to know us.”

This company dealt with a family funeral and did so in a wonderful manner. Corrinne especially was a great help at this disturbing time. Sincere thanks to all of you.
