BIKERS will ride out for charity in Puriton this weekend.

The Puriton Pasty Run, now in its seventh year, will see bikers hit the road on Sunday, June 24, to raise cash for Puriton Youth Club, based at the Puriton Sports Centre.

It is hoped the event will allow the club to purchase much needed equipment.

Paul Vearncombe, an organiser, said: “We're hoping to see a lot of riders who would like to join us on what will hopefully be a great day out.”

Bikers will meet at the Puriton Village Hall at 8am for registrations and refreshments, before leaving at 9am for this year's destination of Bude.

There are stops for coffee, lunch and afternoon tea before arriving back to the Puriton Inn around 5pm. A registration fee of £10 per bike includes a bacon roll and tea for breakfast.
