Mental health issues 'cost Somerset businesses millions' - report

MENTAL health problems at work cost the Somerset economy an estimated £260million every year, according to employment relations service ACAS.
Acas is offering training in Taunton on September 4 to spot the signs of mental illness in your company.
Director of Acas in the South West Tony Cooper, said: “Many employers and managers shy away from dealing with mental illness at work because it can be hard to pin down but people often won’t talk about mental illness.”
