POLICE have arrested 65 people across Somerset on suspicion of drink driving during this month's Operation Tonic campaign.
Since June 1 officers have stopped more than 300 drivers.
People are encouraged to contact police with information about suspected drink or drunk drivers.
They are asked to text the work drunk to 81819 to tell them about anyone getting behind the wheel under the influence.
The messages arrive in the police control room and are treated in the same way as an emergency 999 call.
Insp Mark Edgington, of Avon and Somerset's Roads Policing Unit, said: "Drink and drug driving is a serious crime and we are determined to take strong action against people who break the law.
"There is no safe limit to drinking or drug taking and then driving. Our advice is not to indulge at all."
