The Vagabonds carnival club is hosting a family Jubilee event.

The Jubilee Fun Day will be held on June 5 at Cellophane from 12 to 5pm and will raise funds for the club.

The event will include Jubilee cupcakes, strawberries and cream, a chocolate fountain, live music, a bouncy castle, a children’s parade and 35 stores.

Brian Lavis, event organiser, said: “Money raised from stalls will go towards building the float and this year’s stage production.

“We’ve been working on the float for two months now and it’s going quite well.

“It will be a really good family day out to celebrate the Jubilee, that’s why we’ve kept the price down.”

Entry is 50p for adults, children go free.

The next public event is a hog roast on July 7, more details will follow.
