POETS in Bridgwater are being asked to enter a competition to become local poetry champions.
One poet will be chosen to represent the area in The National Poetry Anthology annual book.
Entry is free and the winner gets a free copy of the book. One overall winner gets £1,000. Organisers say they need more entries from Bridgwater.
Send three unpublished poems up to 160 words to United Press, Admail 3735, London EC1B 1JB by June 30. Enclose a stamp for a reply.
