POLICE are trying to trace the owners of several items of suspected stolen property after recovering them from the home of a suspected burglar.
The man was arrested following two thefts from garages near Bridgwater town centre in the early hours of Monday, February 6.
Officers found several items of stolen property in the suspect's home and have subsequently returned them to their rightful owners.
But there are 16 items currently unclaimed, including a silver and black bicycle, portable TV/DVD player, a laptop, several items of gold jewellery including some rings, car batteries, power tools and several brass decorative items.
If you think any of the items may belong to you, call the Bridgwater District Targeting Team on 01823-363388.
You will be required to prove ownership through detailed descriptions or by providing photographs or receipts.
If you have information about this or any other crime, you can either call police on the new 101 number or alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800-555111 - they never ask your name or trace your call.
