Bridgwater man pleads not guilty to sexual assault

A MAN has pleaded not guilty to the sexual assault of a teenager in Bridgwater.
David Mathias, 37, of Fairfax Road in the town, entered a not guilty plea to sexual touching without consent at Taunton Deane Magistrates Court this morning.
The charge relates to an alleged incident in Piggy Lane, Bridgwater, on December 8 last year.
The case has been adjourned until March 28 for the case to be committed to Taunton Crown Court.
Mr Mathias was released on bail with the condition that he does not enter Piggy Lane.
