SECRET World Wildlife Rescue in East Huntspill is appealing for food and supplies to feed an influx of orphan animals.
Staff are now caring for 20 badger cubs and 15 fox cubs which have come in with various injuries and ailments.
Pauline Kidner, charity founder, said: “Badger cubs and fox cubs forage for food and with the dry spell continuing food is once again scarce so we are preparing ourselves for more orphans coming in over the next few months.”
Secret World is now appealing for the public's help and is asking for wet cat food, kitten food, tinned dog food, and tinned puppy food.
There are food collection bins at Tesco in Burnham, Jollye's in Bridgwater, and Asda in Weston.
People can also bring donations to the rescue centre's next open weekend from May 28 until 30 - call 01278-783250 or visit www.secretworld.org/adopt to find out more.
