Bridgwater baby care retailer wins prestigious award

A Bridgwater baby care retail specialist has been crowned winner of a prestigious national award.
Hippychick, based in Roberts Drive, received the company of the year title at the mumandworking 2010 awards ceremony, held at the Hilton in St Anne's Manor, Bracknell.
The company of the year category was open to any company which actively promoted exceptionally family-friendly and flexible working policies to its team.
Julia Minchin and her husband Tom founded the company more than a decade ago from their kitchen table at home in Spaxton.
Hippychick is is offering people the chance to bid for a family weekend at the Hilton hotel in St Anne's Manor, Bracknell, which will include bed and breakfast and tickets to Legoland.
All money raised by the auction will go to Children in Need.
