TWO women were taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation after a fire in Church Street, Bridgwater, this afternoon.
Fire crews were called to the scene at 1.49pm to reports of a chip pan blaze.
The fire had already gone out on their arrival but the property was full of smoke.
The two women were taken to hospital by ambulance and firefighters used breathing apparatus and removed the pan.
They also used positive pressure ventilation to clear the property of smoke.
