FOUR parliamentary candidates for the Bridgwater seat at the General Election were given a grilling when the town's branch of the Senior Citizens' Forum hosted a 'Question Time' event.
Labour's Kathy Pearce, the LibDem's Theo Butt Philip, UKIP's Peter Hollings and the Green Party's Charles Graham attended the event at the New Legion Club on Friday.
Tory Ian Liddell-Grainger could not attend and the BNP's Donna Treanor was not invited.
Issues raised included the rate of council tax for pensioners, care for elderly, the pension “crisis” and swimming provision in Bridgwater.
